PC-7 Pilatus-RNLAF
In years gone by, the Royal Netrlands Air Force entertained thousands of spectators with its precise and elegant demonstration of the PC-7, also at Sanicole. This year, you can admire this famous aircraft in the static park at the International Sanicole Airshow.
The PC-7 is a powerful and agile turboprop trainer, built by the Swiss aircraft manufacturer Pilatus. Dutch PC-7s are equipped with modern avionics and instrumentation to provide a comprehensive training environment for pilots, ensuring they are well-prepared for the transition to advanced jet trainers and operational aircraft, before pilots continue their flight training in the United States.
The RNLAF has a fleet of 13 PC-7 aircraft. These aircraft are based at Woensdrecht Air Base in the southwest of the country, the primary location for pilot training activities.
