Marchetti SF-260
The Marchetti has served as an elementary trainer with the Belgian Air Force since 1969 and have earned their retirement.
The air force is actively looking to replace the type for elementary training duties in the near future. After years of serving at the former airbase Goetsenhoven near Tienen, these aircraft have been flying out of Beauvechain air base since 1996. They also became fixtures at airshows across Europe, impressing audiences as part of display teams like the Swallows and, more recently, Hardship Red and the Red Devils.
