Boeing AH-64 Apache
The Royal Netherlands Air Force is sending its awe-inspiring combar helicopter to the static park of the International Sanicole Airshow, the AH-64 Apache.
The Apache is brimming with advanced technology to detect and engage enemy forces with unparalleled precision. Dutch Apaches, based at Gilze-Rijen, have been involved in several international operations including Bosnia & Herzogovina, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan and Mali. With its sophisticated weapons and heavy armour, it has earned the respect of crews who have flown it all over the world.
The fleet is currently undergoing undergoing a major upgrade to bring them up to AH-64E standard, the most modern variant of this legendary helicopter.
