Power: 1 × Lycoming GO-435 piston engine (240 hp)
The Pilatus P-3 was developed in Switzerland in the 1950s as a military training aircraft. It served for decades with the Swiss Air Force and was later also operated in Brazil. Powered by a 240 hp Lycoming GO-435 engine, the P-3 proved ideal for basic training and light aerobatic practice.
The P-3 laid the foundation for later Pilatus successes such as the PC-7 and PC-9. With its sleek lines and reliable performance, the P-3 is today a popular collector’s aircraft among warbird operators and historic flying clubs.
