Red Devils Parachute Team
Parachute displays are always crowd favourites. At the International Sanicole Airshow 2026, you’ll witness the Belgian premiere of a renowned parachute display team: the British Army Parachute Display Team Red Devils.
The Red Devils are the elite display team of the Parachute Regiment, made up of 15 exceptionally skilled serving paratroopers. Selection is fiercely competitive, earning the right to wear the iconic red beret in this team is an honour. These are not just display jumpers, but active soldiers who can be called back to operational duty at any moment.
Formed in 1964 to inspire and engage the public, the team quickly set the benchmark for military parachute displays. After training with the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights, they evolved into the British Army’s official parachute display team in 1979 — and have been thrilling audiences worldwide ever since.
Their performance is a dynamic blend of breathtaking flag descents, precise formation stacks, and pinpoint landings. With smoke trailing behind them, every manoeuvre is painted vividly across the sky, building anticipation as they spiral towards the display area. At sunset, they even do this with bright pyrotechnics for extra excitement!
And the experience doesn’t end when they touch down. Meet the team on the ground, hear their stories, and discover firsthand the passion and adrenaline that drive these extraordinary paratroopers.
Mark your calendar for 12–13 September 2026 and look up as the Red Devils descend over Hechtel-Eksel in Belgium.
