With the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Operation Market Garden, one of the largest airborne operations in history, this world-class skydive team is a perfect fit, even if Canadian forces did not take part in the operation. As Canada’s premier military parachuting demonstration team, the SkyHawks soar above expectations, delivering breathtaking performances that leave audiences in awe when the 8 members who form the team show off the excellent manoeuvrability of their canopies.
With over 50 years of experience, the SkyHawks are renowned for their precision and professionalism in executing complex aerial maneuvers. From precise formations to high-speed freefalls, the team showcases the epitome of skydiving excellence, representing Canada on both national and international stages. Beyond the thrill of their performances, the SkyHawks inspire and educate audiences about the art and science of parachuting, also thanks to engaging commentary. The SkyHawks are based at Trenton, Ontario and they are a sub-unit of the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre (CAAWC).
The team already delivered a memorable performance at the 2010 and 2012 International Sanicole airshows and no doubt, their exhilarating performance will once again leave a lasting impression and help honour the sacrifice of Canadian troops during the liberation of Europe in World War II.
