The team’s name is a clever nod to the aircraft they fly. “Raven” comes from the letters RV, the designation of the legendary RV-series aircraft. The RV-8 is an all-aluminium, tandem two-seater with outstanding aerobatic capability. Powered by a 180-horsepower engine and boasting an excellent power-to-weight ratio, it combines speed, agility, and fighter-like handling, making it ideal for the demanding world of formation aerobatics.
