AeroSPARX - Air Display Team
The masters of pyrotechnics displays return to Sanicole on 21 and 22 September and will undoubtedly wow you during the Sunset Airshow on Saturday evening, bringing light to the evening sky: Join us in welcoming back Aerosparx from England.
It’s been 8 years since the team last flew at Sanicole so a return visit was overdue. Aerosparx are known the world over for their innovative displays and participation at high profile events. They fly two Grob 109 motorgliders, German-built twinseaters that have been very popular since their introduction in the late 1970s. On the sleek fuselage, bright LED-lights draw colourful patterns in flight. From its long wings, enabling the aircraft’s excellent glider-performance, the team will shoot a veritable barrage of fireworks while they perform lazy loops and turns over the airfield.
Providing this visual feast are pilots Guy Westgate and Rob Barsby. Both are highly experienced display pilots both in solo aerobatics and in flying in close formation. Their displays from year and year and will certainly differ greatly from the team’s earlier appearance at Sanicole.
Let yourself dream away during their magical performance that revolutionized evening demonstrations at the Sunset airshow on Saturday painting the sky with light, and their demonstration using colourful smokepods during the International Sanicole Airshow on Sunday.
