13 & 14 SEPTEMBER 2025 - Sanicole Airfield (Hechtel-Eksel)

Fouga & Red Devils formation

Don’t miss the International Sanicole Airshow 2024 as it will mark a sad occasion in Belgian aviation history with a special tribute formation on Sunday 22 September: the farewell of the Belgian air force Red Devils display team, flying in formation with the Fouga Magister.

The Red Devils will deliver their final public performance on Sunday 22 September, in anticipation of the withdrawal from service of their Marchetti SF-260s. This emotional moment will be given an extra dedication as they join up with the Fouga Magister from the Stampe & Vertongen museum for a final few formation flypasts over the Sanicole airfield. The identical designs of the liveries of both types creates a gorgeous aesthetic in the sky and will leave a lasting memory of this formation for everyone.

Be sure to wave to the pilots as they perform these special passes and we bid a fond farewell to the Belgian air force Red Devils, who you can also go and greet on the showground at their eye-catching crew tent.
